Day 01: Arrive Delhi (By International flight)
Welcome to the capital of India – Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival at the airport by our tour executive who will escort you to the pre booked hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi sightseeing

After a leisurely breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi Old Delhi - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting - Red Fort - The red sandstone walls of Lal Qila, the Red Fort, extend for two km and vary in height from 18 meters on the river side to 33 metres on the city side. Shah Jahan started construction of the massive fort in 1638 and it was completed in 1648. Jama Masjid - Jama Masjid The splendid mosque built by Muhammad Ali Shah in the typical Mughal style with two minarets and three domes, lies to

the west of the Hussainabad Imambara. Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Also, visit the Swami Narayan Temple ad Bangla Sahib Gurudwara Proceed for the visit of New Delhi

New Delhi - An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit:- Humayun's Tomb - Built in the mid 16th century by Haji Begum, senior wife of Humayun, the second Mughal emperor, Humayun's Tomb is an early example of Mughal architecture built in Delhi. Lotus temple ( known as Bahai Temple), Qutub Minar - 13 km to the south of Connaught Circus at Lalkote of 8th century Tomor Rajputs, the 72.5 mts high Victory Pillar stands as a victory stand of a Muslim King Qutub-ud-din-Aibak in India. A drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, The President's Residence, and a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Overnight at Delhi

Day 03: Delhi – Leh (By morning flight)
Morning intime transfer to airport to board flight for Leh. Arrive at Leh airport, to be received by our representative & transferred to the hotel. Take a full day rest at the hotel as you need to acclimatize well. Overnight Hotel in Leh

Day 04: Sightseeing of Hemis, Thiksey and Shey
After breakfast drive for a full day sightseeing with visits to Shey Palace, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. Overnight Hotel in Leh

Day 05: Leh – Chiling/Tilatdo to Shingra-Gongma (3200m) 5 hrs drive
After breakfast drive towards Nimoo where the confluence of river Zanskar & Indus is, from there take left & drive along the Zanskar River till you reach Sumdado. At Chiling after Lunch visit the White Copper artists famous for their handmade works.After that walking towards Tilatdo (0.5hr) from where the Trek will start till you reach Shingra-gongma(5 hrs). Stay overnight in the tent

Day 06: Trek Shingra-gongma to Deepyokma (3300m) 4 hrs.
After breakfast start the 4hrs trek to Deepyokma where you’ll see no. of caves, Tsomo Paldar, naturally flowing spring water. Overnight camp

Day 07: Deepyokma to Nyrakpulu (3400m) 4-5 hrs
Start the trek to Deepyokma, after 4-5 hrs reach Nyarakpulu. Camp at irrigation field.Another 1hr walk up along with a small stream you will reach a beautiful village called Nyarak. From here Singee-La will be visible, which is a summer trek pass. Overnight in camp.

Day 08: Nyarakpulu – Deepyokma (3300m) 5hrs
Taking the same route back from Nyarakpulu to Deepyokma. Overnight camp.

Day 09: Trek Deepyokma – Tilatdo/Chilling/Leh (3200m) (5hrs trek & 5 hrs drive)
Trek back from Tsomopaldar to Shingra gongma, Tilatdo & then to chilling.Reach chilling and drive back to Leh. Overnight at Leh hotel

Day 10: Leh – Delhi ( By flight)
In the morning transfer to the airport from where you’ll board the flight to Delhi. Upon arrival transfer from Delhi airport to Hotel. Rest of the day free to relax at Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 11: Drive from Delhi to Agra

After an early breakfast, drive to the city of Taj (Agra) Arrive Agra and transfer to hotel

In the afternoon visit the The Agra fort - situated on the banks of Yamuna River, North West of the Taj Mahal, this majestic fort was started by the Emperor Akbar and it developed as a strong hold of the Mughal Empire, under successive generations. This majestic fortress of red sandstone encompasses within its 2.5 km long endosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It comprises many visionary

palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan, audience halls such as the Dewan I Khas and two very beautiful mosques.

Later visit the Taj Mahal - a white marble Tomb build in 1631 - 1648, seat of the Mughal Empire by Shah Jahan for his wife, Arjuman Banu Begum or Mumtaz Mahal In the evening, free to explore the Agra's rich heritage of handicrafts and a marble making factory. Overnight in Agra

Day 12: Drive from Agra to Jaipur visiting Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri enroute

After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Jaipur known as "pink city" and the capital of Rajasthan named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur.

Enroute visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, a place worth visiting to discover how once the city could have been which has now turned into ruins, situated 26 miles west of Agra, it was build at orders of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Proceed for Jaipur and the next halt is Abhaneri

Abhaneri is a small town village, situated at a distance of 95 kms before Jaipur, on Agra –Jaipur road. The place is popular for the amazing 'Baoris' (step wells) and Harshat Mata Temple. Famour Abhaneri Stepwell called Chand Baoli, belonging to the 11th century AD. This stepwells is a marvel of architecture & has beautifully carved panels inserted into the sides. The steps, in sets of 4 or 5, are in the shape of an inverted 'V'. The carved stone pillars, which are somewhat damaged now, were once strong enough for supporting pulleys to draw water. Several storeyed verandahs surround this beautiful stepwell. Also visit the Harshat Mata Goddess Temple nearby belonging to the 9th Century. Later proceed to Jaipur. On arrival check in at Hotel. Arrive Jaipur in the evening and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Jaipur

Day 13: A day in Jaipur for visits
Today after a leisurely breakfast, take an excursion to the majestic Amber Fort. Take an elephant or jeep ride to ascend the hill on which the fort is situated. Later visit the City Palace and the Observatory and photo stop near the Palace of Winds, also known as Hawa Mahal. In the evening, you have the option to see an ethnic village. Overnight in Jaipur

Day 14: Leave Jaipur for Delhi – Onwards flight (By International flight)
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, Later in time drive by surface to Delhi. Upon arrival straight transfer to Delhi International airport to board flight for onward destination.

  • Dos and Don’ts for Frozen River Trek (Chadar Trek)
    On arrival please rest for 24 hrs, as you are traveling to high Altitude from Low, due to low oxygen.
    Have plenty of drinking water or any kind of liquid (except alcohol)
    Please cooperate with the localities, potters , guide ,cook and driver as they of more helpful during trek.
    Room heaters at hotel are LPG heater , so it is advised not to be used on first day of the Tour, as the body needs to acclimatize to Lower oxygen Level.
    Transits between two destinations depend upon weather and road conditions.
    Ladakh is a polythene free region, make sure not to use any polythene when not necessary.
    Do not contaminate the area by not disposing the waste properly.
    Leave your denims behind – these are ill suited for treks. Snacks, colas, alcohol and personal food – No need to overburden yourself with food
    Don’t get any equipment. We would carrying Alpine tents, ice-axes, and other equipment required for such treks.
    After packing, weigh your gear. It should be in the range of 10-15 kg – preferably on the lighter side. Anything heavier, you will need to iterate and remove what is not essential.
    Carry light and what is essential. As an example, toothpaste should be bought in small size (that can last you 10 days). Do not plan for “if” situations. The list of things mentioned here are exactly what you need and nothing more.
    Medicines of all kinds are usually available in local pharmacies with no prescription necessary. Check expiration dates.
  • Things you must carry:
    Clothing (Heavy Warm Feather Jacket, Warm philes jacket, woolen and wind prof gloves , Warm hat, woolen Socks, Warm Wind prove Touser, Sweaters etc)
    Trekking shoes (Water prove).
    Sun glass with UV Protection
    Torch with extra batteries.
    Sun Screen lotion and cold cream.v
    Sleeping bag for – 25 .
    Light towel (should be thin, quick drying kind).
    Chapstick or lip balm
    Water bottles . The insulated water bottles are good but even normal water bottles will suffice.
    Camera, memory-cards, batteries etc (carry enough spare batteries. Electricity is not available on the slopes)
    Personal toiletries/wind cheater/Tissue rolls.
    If available than Pair of walking sticks.
    An identification card (Passo), along with a photocopy
Medicines:
Please consult your physician for any medication before travelling to a high altitude area.
Avoid Acute Mountain Sickness:
Acute mountain sickness can occur to anyone at an altitude above 10,000 feet’s from the sea level. The most common symptoms of the acute mountain sickness are headache disturbed sleep, loss of appetite, nausea, coughing, irregular breathing, breathlessness, lassitude and lack of concentration, Since Leh Town is situated at an attitude of 11,500ft.above sea level, it is advisable to take the following precaution, so as to acclimatize your body properly.
